Here are the signature ships of Star Trek: The Original Series.
The classic white (or blue/gray) ship, NCC-1701 USS Enterprise. No matter the battle or other dire circumstance, this Enterprise always looked good at the end of the day. The writers wouldn't start beating her up until Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, and she didn't survive Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, crashing into the Genesis planet (that shortly thereafter itself exploded due to severe gastritus).
The old Klingon D-7 lines are unmistakable, exuding aggression and style. The little machine captures the details and colorings of our '60's bad boys of outer space.
The original Bird of Prey has always presented such a simple design incorporating vestiges of flying saucer (circular shaping with windows all round) with warp tech nacelles on the end of the 'wings.' It's deceptively large in this kit to show off detail, though it was likely only as big as the primary hull (saucer section) of the old Enterprise (NCC-1701).
These excellent little representations have traveled many years in this original packaging (these are original issue, not the reissues in later packaging), and can either continue to be so displayed or else released to set on their own stands and ever better show off their own lines.
